More Information about Transfer
Plastisoltransfers are printed using the classic screen printing process. Whether finely detailed or large motifs, monochromatic logos or halftone printing, our Plastisol transfers are suited for printing on all textiles, whether cotton, blended fabrics or nylon. These transfers are printed with the help of quality Wilflex inks, which dry at high temperatures and provide our transfers with colour stability, as well as resistance to abrasion and fading caused by washing.
We offer three formats which can be filled by any method. You can combine several motifs on one sheet. In addition, we offer a large format 33 x 47 cm intended for oversized artworks that would not fit on our standard sheet formats.
Motifs, patterns or logos can be easily adapted to the desired format. See: preview image.
Storage
In a dust-free environment with low ambient humidity, at room temperature without exposure to direct sunlight.
How to Apply the Transfer Correctly
What Files to Upload for Print and Preview Data
- Attach data in vectors (PDF or EPS)
- Add a preview to each ordered item
- Artworks including white colour have to be placed on coloured background
- Knock out invisible parts of graphics
- We need colour codes in Pantone Solid Uncoated; HKS codes are also acceptable
- Neon colours 801 – 807 need a special white backing, these are two colour prints
- We cannot guarantee continuity of lines and objects under 0.7 mm due to limitations of technology
Frequently Asked Questions about the Product:
What data do we need from you?
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please upload your artwork in the selected format as vector data. Ideally, the files should be mirrored. Please also make sure that the line thickness is not below 0.7 mm.
Which Pantone color guide do we use for printing?
We normally print according to the Pantone U color guide. If you specify Pantone C in the notes, we will adjust the color as closely as possible. Due to differences between color systems and material properties, slight color deviations may occur. These are technologically inherent and cannot be completely avoided.
When do we recommend printing with a blocker?
We recommend printing with a blocker when working with problematic or functional textiles, such as softshell, where colors from the fabric may bleed into the design or where a chemical reaction with the material may occur. For very thin lines and light shades, we recommend a transparent blocker.
When can you expect your transfers?
We start working on your order immediately after it is placed. Standard production time is 2–3 working days, but after adding the order to the cart, you can also choose a faster production and shipping option to receive your transfers the next day.
