More Information about Transfer
DTF Glitter transfers are printed on a 60 cm wide roll and can be ordered by the meter.
The printable width of the film is 56 cm.
Just like with standard DTF printing, pigment inks in CMYK + white are used.
The glitter effect is created by a special glitter film that gives the design a unique shine.
Transfers are finished with a polyurethane adhesive, ensuring high flexibility and durability even after multiple washes.
Arrange your designs, motifs, or logos in portrait orientation on the desired format. See preview picture.
DTF Glitter can only be applied as Coldpeel – after pressing, the film must be allowed to cool down completely before it is slowly removed.
This process ensures an even transfer of the glitter effect without damaging fine details.
When peeling, the film may resist slightly at first – remove it carefully and evenly.
Storage
In a dust-free environment with low ambient humidity, at room temperature without exposure to direct sunlight.
How to Apply the Transfer Correctly
Ironing:
- After receiving the order, simply cut out the desired motifs.
 - Pre-iron the fabric to remove any residual moisture.
 - Iron the transfer onto the product for 20 seconds at a medium pressure and a temperature of 160 degrees.
 - For materials such as polyester and softshell, you can reduce the ironing temperature (approximately 130 degrees) and ironing time.
 - Carefully peel off the foil after pressing. In the case of cold foil, remove it after it has cooled down.
 - We recommend a second ironing to the same temperature and pressure - approx. 5 sec. - preferably over a piece of cotton fabric.

Follow the ironing instructions provided with the shipment.
What Files to Upload for Print and Preview Data
- When using very thin fonts, the white underlayer is pushed to its limits. The recommended font thickness is 1-2 mm. Fine lines/dots less than 1-2 mm may not be printed.
 - Files must always be presented without a background - NOT MIRRORED!
 - File format: PDF. Insert data in height - 56 x 100 cm.
 - CMYK color spaces are suitable for DTF printing. We work with CadLink software and the corresponding color profile.

Data preparation:
- Prepare the graphic by removing the background and setting its dimensions to 56 x 100 cm. Ensure that the graphic resolution is not lower than 300 dpi, and the colors are in CMYK mode. The minimum acceptable line thickness is 1-2 mm.
 - If the graphic does not meet these requirements:
- Smaller elements may not be printed.
 - There may be visible white underlayer at the edges of the graphic.
 - Elements will not be adequately overprinted, which can lead to application issues.

 - If the file contains white color, make sure it is defined correctly. Standard white color (RGB 255, 255, 255) will not be printed with white ink. For correct printing, the white should be defined as a special spot color – either as ‘white underbase’ or as pure white color (white).
